Amazon Prime Video’s “Hunters” is Finally Here
“Hunters,” the much-anticipated conspiracy thriller series executive produced by Jordan Peele, premiers on Amazon Prime Video on Feb. 21, 2020. The web series stars Logan Lerman as headstrong teenager Jonah Heidelbaum and Al Pacino as ringleader Meyer Offerman, which marks Pacino’s debut as his first recurring starring role in a series.
“Hunters” is a dark comedy based in New York City in the 1970s that follows an unconventional team of citizens-turned-vigilantes who have banned together to bring justice to undercover high-ranking Nazi officials.
On Feb. 18, Prime Video hosted a Grindhouse Experience and transformed Los Angeles’ Highland Park into 1970s New York City, completed with actors, decorations, snacks, drinks and music for a truly all-encompassing experience. Invitees also got a sneak-peak into the series with a viewing of the first episode of Season One, and if the rest of the series is anything like the first episode, then viewers are in for theatrical cinematography, gruesome violence, nail-biting suspense and satisfying revenge.
